A poker game is one that requires players to make bets. The first player to place a bet is called a bettor, and the second player is called a caller. When the first player makes a bet, the other players will then have a chance to raise. Players are also required to make at least one bet before the dealer can make a decision.<\/p>\n
A poker hand is composed of five cards of the same suit. If a player does not have a pair, they may choose to fold. By folding, a player forfeits all bets made so far. Folding occurs only when a hand is weak. For example, a pair of aces is a strong hand, while a pair of twos is a weak hand.<\/p>\n
The final betting round in a poker game occurs between players. In between rounds of betting, poker hands develop. In between rounds, the current bet amount is recorded. Players do not put bets directly into the pot, but place them toward the pot. Eventually, the bets are collected and gathered in the pot.<\/p>\n
